I went there with a perfectly behaved Boston terrier licensed service dog. From the moment I entered the restaurant they began confronting me. After the 3rd time I suggested that they read the ADA regulations regarding service animals. The service of the wait staff was also mediocre I will never return.

I came for my birthday dinner as my family and I love this place and celebrate everything here. The waitress seemed unfortunately not in the best of moods and it was dissapointing at the end of the night my dessert came with a free candle but a charged cost. Weird that the place I love was stingy and made us pay for a small birthday dessert. Happy birthday to your biggest advocate I guess.

Really was excited to try this because of the wood fired grill and reviews. Was pretty disappointed. Steak was undercooked, fairly dry, and not a typical ‘prime’ graded marbling, especially for a prime ribeye. Mac and cheese was good. Lobster solid. Rest not great.

The coffee was ok. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The breakfast burrito was great. Big portion and not a bad price. The salsa was also pretty good. It's tough to find seating. Also the tables are near the line for the counter. So it gets crowded. I would go back for food. Parking was tough.

The food is mid, can’t sugarcoat that one. My brother had ordered the brisket eggs benedict and I had gotten the chorizo bowl. Brisket was definitely not slow cooked but I appreciate the effort the cooks had put in. My best friends boyfriend didn’t even get his order with the rest of us to where we had to tell the OWNER to make it to go because it was 15 mins past the rest of us getting our food. Experiences will vary but give it a whirl if it tickles your toes. Also, PLEASE clean the bathroom. There should be no reason for a grown man’s mildew to be inside the sink.

Tonight came over for Happy Hour and the place was quite empty as it was 5pm. We sat at the bar and there was about 7 others seated and had drinks. Behind the bar there was about 4 staff members which saw 2 of us sit down and didn't greet us or bring menus. The wasn't a large queue of drinks being made and we were ignored for well over 10 min in an empty restaurant. Someone came and sat next to us that was apart of a larger group and was acknowledged and asked for their order. We had our drink order, and food order ready once someone was ready to take our order. We decided after getting ignored to leave and visit another restaurant down the road. This was the first time in a very long time we have left somewhere because of bad service. We were excited to have happy hour on a Friday after work. I can't review the food or drinks as we didn't have any. As a Solana Beach resident I won't be recommending this place to others. Hopefully service gets better over time because it is nice to see more places in SB.

My husband, two month old daughter and I stopped in here after having a horrible experience at Rustic Root down the street, and boy am I happy we went!! Chase served us outside; he was an absolutely phenomenal server! Extremely friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. We had wings to start, very yummy! My husband had the ribs plate, which I had some of, and it tasted soooooo good! I had the poke bowl, and it was delicious! We ended with the mud pie, which is so yummy, but MASSIVE! Make sure to split it if you get it 😂 overall wonderful experience! We will definitely be back 😁🤗
